Over the past few months I've been struggling to keep up my milk supply. There are times I will only get 1-2 ounces from each boob and that's just barely enough for one feeding. I used to be able to pump anywhere from 3-4 oz but that significantly changed when I went back to work and couldn't find consistent times to pump. This super stressed me out since I need to feed my baby when I'm away from him and if I can't produce enough for my babe while I'm at work, we will need to supplement with formula. I mean there's nothing wrong with formula and I'll have to do what I need to keep him fed, full and healthy but ideally, I would like to breastfeed him up to at least1 year. I've never researched and tried so many different methods to increase milk supply. lol oh the things we do for our little one. From trying numerous supplements and teas, to oatmeal and lactation cookies, and even power pumping, some of my efforts did not go unnoticed. It's exhausting to still wake up in the middle of the night to pump while baby is sleeping but I can't afford to loose any more milk. It's like all I think about is MILK 🍼 all day long from setting multiple alarms every 3 to 4 hours to pump at work to making sure I keep up with my supplements and to eating foods that enhance my supply... it's like I have my own dairy farm lol. (milking my own cow so to speak 🤣) I might not be the only one who struggles with low milk supply and trying to keep up with the demands of a growing baby. I've listed all the things I've tried under my reviews for lactation support. Oh what we do to save our precious liquid gold.
